This song, with text by metaphysical poet Francis Quarles, was originally composer for tenor David Root. I created a baritone version for my dear friend and colleague Michael Kelly, which he recorded on my album, “Infrastructure: The Songs of David Sisco.” You can listen to the piece by clicking here.
